Located on Ft. George Island, Amelia Island State Park is home to 200 acres of undeveloped sea island
recreational opportunities. Alongside of its reputation for some of the best fishing in Northeast
Florida, Amelia Island also holds the state record for the Flounder. Fish off the mile long
fishing bridge thatspans
Nassau sound, check out rare wildlifesuch as the right whale, and collect seashells on the beach
but don't forget about horseback riding.This is one of the few places on the East Coast that allows
horseback riding on its shoreline.
The Park is open from 8 a.m. until sunset 365 days a year. Park
admission for Amelia Island State Park is very reasonably priced. |

| Fort Clinch State Park Beach |

North
of Fernandina Beach lays one of Florida's premiere beaches, Fort Clinch State Park. Crystal clear water and
2.3 miles of sandy shoreline set this beach apart. A pre-civil war fortification on-site has park rangers
dressed in period uniforms offering special programs and tours. The beach is home to manatees, a fishing
pier that runs a ¼ mile into the ocean, and a jetty that juts into the mouth of the sound. A 2.5
mile-hiking trail is nearby for land-dwellers.
Fort Clinch's amenities include a visitor's center, picnic tables, rest rooms, and showers. River camping near the
Intracoastal Waterway and beach camping on the Cumberland Sound are also available.
Fort
Clinch is open every day from 8 a.m. to sunset and has ample parking at $3.25 per vehicle. No lifeguards are
on duty, but on the north side of the jetty, waveless and shallow water makes it perfect for young children to
swim here at Fort Clinch's beach.

| Little Talbot Island State Park Beach |

Located just 20 miles north of downtown Jacksonville, Little Talbot Island State Park is one of Florida's
great treasures. This 2,500 acre undeveloped island is home to 5 miles of wide, uncrowded beaches,
undisturbed salt marshes, and vegetated dunes. Boardwalks located at both ends of the island lead
you directly to this beach, making it perfectly suited for rest and relaxation.
The beach hours are 8 a.m. to sunset and lifeguards are present on a seasonal basis. Amenities that
Little Talbot offers are a visitor center, picnic tables, rest rooms, and showers. There is a $3.25
parking fee per vehicle and Island camping is available.

Located
in Fernandina Beach, Florida's First Official Beach town is the beach of Peter's Point. This nice, uncrowded
beach is located just 10 miles from "Historic Downtown Fernandina". Peter's Point has a wide,
walkable strand of beach, seasonal lifeguards, and offers Free Parking. Its other amenities include rest
rooms, showers, and picnic shelters.
